This image fluttered into my head one morning and I drew awhole sequence of these Birdwomen of which In Dreams I Fly is the very firstexperimental piece. I think it is about the Itse ( Vapaasielu Free Soul, one ofthe three souls of an ancient Finn) rising from us as we slumber and thenenveloping us once again as we prepare to awaken.
