When the Sun Kissed the Sea

While this work finds its visual roots in the familiar coastof Raglan, its true origin lies in a feeling: that singular, suspended momentwhen you stand at the edge of the landscape and watch it dissolve into thewater. For me, where the land meets the open sea has always felt like anancient portal into the past. In that vast expanse, time collapses. The horizondoesn't divide us from the world; it connects us. Across those endless waters,I am drawn back to the shores of my own homeland in Africa. A reminder that theearth's edges are not boundaries, but threads holding our histories together.
