Orca Visit Whangamata

This painting recorded a magical day when my familyand I were lucky enough to see an Orca and calf moving along parallel to theshore at Whangamata.   More and morepeople began to join the group following the Orcas for the precious time theywere moving near the shore, until they finally headed out to sea and we allagreed we had seen something very special. Recently a large Orca was seen from the Ocean Sports club chasing stingraysalong the harbour, to an appreciative audience.
