'In a moment I wanted to let go ! Just be free. I was at the time battling with a few things I could not change, thank goodness the not so nice things we have to deal with most of the time don’t last and “ this too shall pass” applies here. I really wanted to forget about it , just for awhile. I unwrapped the canvas and let go completely, I knew if it was a disaster I could paint over it. Well it was a delight, the birth of Blossoms of a New chapter was born. I have since evolved into a few different ones. What especially was happy with was the way it came about, I used plants, flowers, petals and airbrushing, paints and everything I could find. It is an absolutely fabulous process of bringing the abstract, inventive, used anything, break the rule, have a lot of fun letting go and anything goes freedom of painting. It is positive and uplifting and the perfect piece to bring joy into a space, fun and full of joy and the little Fantail painted with my usual realism, great combo.'
