Maja Vojvodic-Vukovic
Maja Vojvodic-Vukovic is contemporary jewellery designer and maker from Hamilton. She always had passion for art and design and in 2001 she started working with clay - making lamps, vases and jewellery. She had exhibited in several galleries and had several group exhibitions in New Zealand. She loves simplicity and minimalism which is reflected in her work. She currently makes jewellery from the recycled silver (from exposed photography and medical films) and glass. The silver and glass are fired together several times in the kiln and the final product is pure 99.9% silver.
