Donald Buglass
I was born and raised in New Zealand and graduated from the National Art School in Sydney, 1991 (painting major) completing 1st year of a BFA Furniture Design (distinction), University of Tasmania, 1994.
My work Includes installation, painting, land art and sculpture.
I am an intuitive artist with work that often varies greatly from one piece to the next but maintaining a distinct level of vitality and originality. I let the material have a directional input and strive to create art that is aesthetically appealing while maintaining a strong conceptual narrative. My work often explores his ideas and concepts about life, society, science and belief.
