Talented Waikato Fashion Designer Aroha Wikotu has scored a major coup, winning a section at the Miromoda Fashion awards in Wellington and has won a place in New Zealand fashion week as one of seven Maori Fashion designers who will be on the catwalk in September. Inspirit will be showcasing some of Shikoba's most exclusive designs with an artistic edge. Her new spring collection will be featuring in the gallery and she has designed a special garment for the Endangered exhibition at the gallery opening on Friday 29th October 2010.
