Di Tocker
Di Tocker currently lives and works fulltime as a Glass Artist and Tutor in the Waikato.
Glass has been Di's passion since 1989. Di completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts(major Glass) at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2002.
Di,s Cast Glass Objects are usually figurative and often feature forms of mountain or rock.
The Works seeks to convery introspection as a source of strength, particularly in the face of adversity. At the same time it describes aspirations of contentment with solitude and courage able to stand up to life'schallenges.
Each dicast glass object created by Di Tocker is a 'one off' made from Blackwood Casting Crystal (35% lead content)
