Faith Tavernor

Enigma II is a ‘window’ created out of a mix of mirrored and black acrylic. It is a ‘window’ that one looks into rather than through. In the ‘window’ of Enigma II the viewer can see themselves encompassed in a kaleidoscopic and playful manner into the surrounding clean and green environment of New Zealand. Enigma II interacts with and incorporates the clear vibrant blues and greens that are the essence of this awesome country.

Faith Tavernor studied Fine Art at the Herefordshire College of Art in the UK and at The College of Art & Design of New Zealand in Christchurch. She has exhibited in New Zealand and the UK. Her work explores and addresses spatial issues and has been shown in exhibitions in Christchurch, at the Waitakaruru Sculpture Park and Arboretum, Tauwhare, at Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens and The Harbourview Sculpture Trail on the Te Atatu Peninsular, Auckland.
