Paul Abbitt

Paul Abbitt is a international multi-award winning commercial and editorial photographer who has had his work displayed in galleries throughout England and featured in numerous publications.  With almost 20 years experience, his career has taken him around the world.  Originally from the UK, he is now based in Raglan, Waikato, New Zealand.

Seascape collection
The majority of seascapes images have come about from numerous trips to the points over the past 6 years, not only waiting for the right light, but for the right  tide and swell. Only a couple from each year have been selected for a limited print run.

Technical Details
Colour Print Details, Digital C-types. Fuji Flex Paper
C-type printing has a higher maximum density, more subtleties and more color (millions more) than Giclee (inkjet prints).  A Digital C Type is a traditional photographic print, made from a digital file rather than a negative. Otherwise known as Lambda or Light Jet, printed on a Chromia printer on light sensitive paper, developed using conventional silver based photographic chemicals. Printed in England.

Camera
For the square and Panoramics a Hasselblad 503cw with digital back, using 150mm,100mm, 50mm lenses.
