It's all about the ocean!
These paintings are of both my place, Papamoa Beach, and my favourite other place, the tropical Pacific Islands.
My painting life began in the mid-nineties prompted by a strong desire to express the beauty and feeling of the Pacific Islands where I have lived and travelled.
I began working in pastels then moved onto acrylic, striving to create images that excite me, that feel good to be around, that make others feel good too!
My paintings continue to be influenced by the tropical places of the world, by my wider world travels, and by my home in the Bay of Plenty.
I exhibit regularly in the Bay of Plenty and have work exhibited in galleries throughout New Zealand.
